This Condition & Grading Policy explains how Wholesale Pallet Liquidation (“we”, “us”, “our”) describes the condition of pallets and products we sell. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept these grading standards for liquidation merchandise.
1. General notes about liquidation inventory
- Our pallets may include overstock, shelf pulls, customer returns, and salvage merchandise, depending on the load.
- Items can show signs of handling, such as price stickers, store labels, tape, dents, or worn packaging.
- Some items may be missing accessories, manuals, or original boxes, especially in customer return and mixed loads.
All goods are sold AS‑IS / WHERE‑IS, as detailed in our Return & Refund Policy.
2. Condition grades
We use the following general grades to describe pallets and products. Not every grade is available in every load.
A. New / Overstock
- Items are typically new, unused, and originally intended for retail sale.
- Often come from excess inventory, discontinued lines, or store overstocks, and may have minor packaging wear or price tags.
B. Shelf Pulls
- Merchandise removed from retail shelves due to season change, packaging updates, or discontinued SKUs.
- Items are usually unused but may show signs of handling, such as slightly damaged boxes, missing shrink‑wrap, or store stickers.
C. Customer Returns
- Items that were purchased and then returned by customers for various reasons (fit, preference, packaging damage, minor defects, etc.).
- Condition can range from like‑new to visibly used; some items may require cleaning, testing, or minor repair before resale.
D. Mixed Returns / Mixed Grade
- Pallets labeled “mixed” can include a combination of overstock, shelf pulls, customer returns, and salvage.
- Expect a blend of resellable items and units best used for parts, repair, or recycling; overall pricing reflects this higher‑risk mix.
E. Salvage / For Parts
- Items are generally not guaranteed to be fully functional and may have significant cosmetic or mechanical issues.
- Best suited for buyers who can harvest parts, repair, or repurpose goods; packaging may be heavily damaged or missing.
3. Manifests and item lists
- Some pallets may include a manifest or estimated category breakdown; others are sold as unmanifested loads.
- Manifests, when provided, are considered approximate and may contain errors or substitutions; they are for guidance only and not a guarantee of exact contents or values.viatrading
Variations in style, size, model, and value within a pallet are normal and are not grounds for a refund.
4. Testing and functionality
- Unless otherwise specified, items in customer return, mixed, or salvage loads are not individually tested.
- Buyers should expect to perform their own inspection, testing, repair, or refurbishment before resale, especially for electronics and high‑value items.
5. Packaging and presentation
Across all grades, buyers should expect that:
- Retail packaging may be dented, torn, taped, or replaced with generic packaging.
- Some items may be poly‑bagged or loose in boxes rather than in original retail packaging.
- Price tags, clearance stickers, and store labels may be present.
6. Brand and authenticity
- We source inventory from liquidation channels tied to recognized retailers, wholesalers, and distributors, and we aim to provide genuine branded products where branded goods are advertised.
- Because we do not manufacture these goods, buyers should inspect items themselves and comply with any platform policies regarding branded merchandise.
7. No condition guarantees beyond grading
- Condition grades and descriptions are guidelines, not guarantees of individual item performance.
- Our AS‑IS model means that minor defects, missing accessories, or unsellable units within a pallet are expected and reflected in pricing; they do not qualify for returns or refunds except as outlined in our Return & Refund Policy.
